Instead: Their businesses and dreams will collapse crash and burn in front of their eyes. All because they couldn’t figure out how to effectively use the resources around them and turn it into sustainable and predictable profits… and scale it profitably to 6,7 or even 8 figures…

So What can you do about it? And how do you unleash an extra 30- 40% sales in your business in the next few weeks?

You need to do 3 simple things:

  1.     Discover your market potential
  2.     Fix the basics
  3.     Stop swimming against the tide

 

  1.     Discover your market potential

Let me explain: Without being crystal clear on the most effective and profitable way to connect to your target market you’re not really running a business. You’re running a dangerous hobby which will be extremely difficult to scale and that could make you go broke.  

If you don’t understand and connect to your target market in the most effective and profitable way, it’s like trying to drive a car blindfolded. You’re probably going to hurt yourself and your loved ones, don’t you think?

If you don’t understand the most effective and profitable way to connect to your target market, how are you supposed to make smart, educated and strategic decisions to grow your business?

The answer is: You can’t You’re left to rely on trial and error… on guessing and hoping… and guessing won’t lead to growth or profits. I promise you that.

Here’s a simple example: One of the business owners I came across recently was selling “nice to have” products to mainly retired ladies who were 65+ years of age. They thought they knew the most profitable way to connect to their target market and they were making some money. However, they couldn’t scale and what’s even worse, didn’t make any profits over Christmas.

No money over Christmas??!! That’s almost impossible if you’re in retail… Unfortunately, so many businesses make this mistake and don’t seize the biggest opportunities in their business…

So why didn’t they make any money over Christmas? Very simple- they were still selling to these retired ladies over the Christmas period while these ladies were buying presents for everyone else at that time, not for themselves. Had they been selling to their husbands, daughters, sons and grandchildren they would have made a fortune…

Unfortunately, this happens all the time. I see this with just about every business I come across… They think they know the most effective and profitable way to connect to their target market but in fact, they don’t.

Let me ask you a question? Can you tell me exactly who your target market is, what they like, don’t like, what are they doing in their spare time, what movies they watch, what type of houses they own, what cars they drive or perhaps what relationships are they in?

Can you tell me exactly, why they buy your products or services over your competitors?

Can you tell me exactly what’s the proportion of the market you own and how much are you leaving to everyone else?

Which platforms bring you in what percentage of your revenue? Which products bring you in what percentage of your profit?

If you don’t know the answers to these questions, you’re leaving tons and tons of money on the table and are exposing yourself to very risky transactions.

On top of that, if you say that 100% of your sales are coming from one platform (e.g. Facebook), then you’re walking on a very thin ice as your business could be wiped out in 24hrs or even less..

Also, the majority of you have 1-2 best-selling products. Now, what happens if you won’t be able to promote those products anymore or you have a new market entry that directly competes with that product? This is why you need to understand the answers to these questions.

Once you understand your market potential properly and understand how to connect to them in the most effective and profitable way, you’ll be able to make smart, educated decisions instead of just trying what works – and scale your business at will (without emotion or drama).

Without it though, you’re leaving tons of money on the table (probably 5-6 figures) and the chances of you being a statistic instead of success story are 10x higher

  1.     Fix the basics

Here are the biggest marketing and advertising secrets

Marketing and advertising are NOT the answer to your prayers. So many entrepreneurs come to me thinking that marketing, advertising or more traffic will fix and grow their businesses. The reality is that more traffic can drive you out of business faster.

Here’s why:

You can have the best traffic but if you can’t convert it, what’s the point? If you can’t turn clicks into customers, what’s the point of having them there? Chances are your marketing and advertising spent are NOT your number one problem.

It’s probably LEAKAGE in your sales funnel and your business activities that are costing you a fortune and you don’t even know about it.

Or maybe you make it really hard for your customers to give you money and therefore you can never scale no matter how good your ads are.

Or maybe, you have a complicated fulfilment process making it nearly impossible to make money?

Maybe your shipping takes forever and you have to respond to a ton of customer enquiries leaving you with lots of refunds, chargebacks and negative customer reviews?

Look, I want you to understand the iceberg principle here…  marketing and advertising are just the very tip of the iceberg and that’s only 10% but everything else is underneath and it’s just as important and it’s what will make your business scale…

That’s roughly the 90% (your strategy, products, niche, check out experience, supply chain, customer contact, shipping, customer reviews, fulfilment).

If those things don’t work don’t expect your marketing and advertising to fix the problem.

If your fundamentals are set up to fail… I don’t care how good your marketing is. It won’t turn into profits. Period.

  1.     Stop Swimming Against The Tide

You don’t have to figure out everything by yourself.

Find someone who helped others generate those results you are after and hire them as your mentor. This is the only (I believe) real shortcut in business. It’s like going from A to Z while skipping all the letters in between

My secret is mentors and I’ve personally invested at least $100k into my success through them.

And for years I was struggling until I made the leap of faith to hire one. Nothing really changed until I hired a mentor…

So remember…
